Objective & Challenges
Cab2Size was an online initiative created by Norcab Kitchen & Millwork Co. Inc. to bridge the gap between online and trades work. The objective was to be able to translate the custom aspect of cabinetry to an online system. The system must have the ability to handle custom size, finishes, accessories, pricing and shipping based on these requirements.
The challenge for NineSix Creative Inc. was to make sure the functionality requirements were not only seamless but easy to use for any contractor, trade or individual that would visit the site. There was no brand identity and the market had little to no options with such a custom initiative.
Outcome
Coincidentally upon launch, the COVID-19 pandemic came into play. This allowed Cab2Size to quickly switch gears temporarily and sell online COVID-19 products while many trades were left trailing behind. Since the market has regulated in the COVID-19 space, Cab2Size has reverted back to it’s original initiative and has been successfully filling the gap in this space.
The ability for the Cab2Size to stay dynamic, easy-to-use and profiting regardless of market have been the key successes to this project.
